JumpStep® underlays now have one smooth-fit side and one non-woven side which can be installed either side facing upwards, to the choice of the installer. The non-woven side offers rigidity and ease of installation when staples are used, particularly on stair risers, and the smooth-fit side can be preferable for large surface rooms which helps heavier carpets glide into place during installation. Its thickness of 7mm, 9mm, or 11mm offers an ideal flush fit up to standard grippers and also features advanced graded foam which gives excellent comfort and longevity properties.
